On a recent trip to Paris I had to make a detour to investigate another project that is nearing completion and that Bruntons will have to supply streamline wires for- can you guess what it is ? This project will require wires that are dictated not by dimensions but by breaking load alone, this leads to a whole load of questions and although materials change we can still work back from current material breaking strengths to provide as good a product as was originally designed.

The photo might not be the clearest but if you guessed a Hauban Avion Potez 25 you must know your aircraft.

On the same trip I came across a 1 1/2 strutter by co-incidence the very same aircraft is being built from scratch at East Fortune by some local enthusiastics- small world indeed
